How to validate tickets at the door
Each go&dance ticket has a unique QR code and ticket number that you can use to manage attendee access to your event.
You can manage access using the go&dance app or check the attendee list in advance if you prefer to validate tickets manually.
Validate tickets with the go&dance app
The easiest way to manage access is by using our app.
At the entrance to the event, you can validate a ticket in two ways:
Scan the QR code displayed on the attendee's ticket.

To validate tickets for your event using the go&dance app, you first need to link the phones or devices you will use for access control.
You can add multiple devices to the same event, for example, if you have different entrances or several people will be scanning tickets at the same time.
1. Download the app
Go to Administration > Scanning devices.

If you are having trouble scanning a ticket's QR code with the go&dance app, perform the following checks.
Check that you have selected the correct event
Before trying to scan the ticket, make sure that you have selected the same event the ticket belongs to in the app.
The app can only scan and validate tickets for the event currently selected.
Important: if you have selected a different event, the app will not be able to validate the ticket even if the QR code is correct.Few readersA ticket appears as already used. What should I do?
When you scan a ticket with the go&dance app, it is recorded as used. If you scan it again, the app will notify you that the ticket has already been used.
Always check the attendee's identity
During access control, we recommend always checking an ID document (national ID card, passport, or another valid document) of the person presenting the ticket.

How to enable Flexible Cancellation
The Flexible Cancellation option allows your customers to add the ability to cancel their ticket later, up to a deadline that you define, when purchasing a ticket.
Offering this option helps build trust at the time of purchase and can encourage early ticket sales. Customers can buy with greater peace of mind even if they are not yet completely sure whether they will be able to attend the event.

Open your event and go to Event page > Settings.

You can add your own event-specific terms and conditions. Once configured, buyers will be required to accept them during the purchase process in order to complete their ticket purchase.
This allows you to inform attendees in advance about the conditions that apply to the event and keep a record of their acceptance during the purchase process.

Once you have finished configuring your event, you can publish it so that it becomes visible on go&dance and you can start selling tickets.
To start the process, open the event from your Professional Area and click Publish event in the top-right corner.

If you need to cancel an event published on go&dance, it is important to stop ticket sales as soon as possible and contact our team so we can help you manage the cancellation and refunds correctly.

The first thing you should do is prevent any new purchases.
To do this, go to your event's ticket settings and:
Mark the tickets as unavailable, or
Set their stock to 0.

You can decide what information attendees must provide when purchasing a ticket. This can be configured at event level, and you can also request additional information for specific ticket types.
Configure information for the entire event
Go to Event page > Settings and find the Information to collect section.
Click Edit and enable the information you want to request. You can choose from:
Full name.
Email.
Phone number.
Gender.
Role (follower/leader/both).

You can add artists, dancers, DJs, groups, or other professionals who will be participating in your event. Artists will be associated with the event so attendees can see who is part of the lineup.
Open your event and go to Event page > Artists.

How settlements work
Settlements are the transfers through which you receive the money generated by your event sales, after deducting the amounts corresponding to go&dance services and other associated items.
You must request your settlements
As an organizer, you must always request a settlement when you want to receive the available funds from your sales.
You can do this from Administration > Invoices and settlements by clicking Request transfer.

Promoters and affiliates
How to add and work with promoters
Promoters allow you to work with partners who promote or sell tickets for your event. Each promoter has their own unique code, which allows you to track the visits and sales they generate.
From Marketing → Promoters, you can add new promoters, configure how they will work with the event, and review their activity.
Add a promoter
Go to Marketing → Promoters and click Add promoter.
Under the Details tab, you can configure the promoter's main information:

The go&dance Affiliate Program allows you to increase your event's visibility through go&dance's network of promoters and professionals.

How to refund or cancel a ticket
From your event management area, you can manage the refund or cancellation of tickets from a sale.
To do this, go to Sales and attendees > Sales, open the corresponding sale, and click Refund order.
Refund types
Depending on the type of sale and its status, you may find up to three options:
Refund the money
Cancels the selected tickets and refunds the corresponding amount to the buyer using the same payment method used for the purchase.

How to configure ticket prices and types
