How to add and work with promoters

Promoters allow you to work with partners who promote or sell tickets for your event. Each promoter has their own unique code, which allows you to track the visits and sales they generate.

From Marketing → Promoters, you can add new promoters, configure how they will work with the event, and review their activity.

Add a promoter

Go to Marketing → Promoters and click Add promoter.

Under the Details tab, you can configure the promoter's main information:

  • Promoter name.
  • Promoter code: identifies the activity generated by that promoter. If you leave it blank, one will be generated automatically. Once created, the code cannot be changed.
  • Promoter email.

Configure how they can sell

You can decide which sales methods will be available to the promoter:

  • Can sell offline: allows the promoter to sell tickets directly and then manually record those sales on go&dance.
  • Can sell online: allows online sales made through the promoter's code or link to be tracked.

You can enable one or both options depending on how you want to work with each promoter.

Invite the promoter

If you enable Send invitation by email, go&dance will send an invitation to the promoter at the email address provided.

Once accepted, the promoter will be able to link the event to their account and view their sales information in real time.

You can also select the invitation language.

Promoter settings

Each promoter can have their own specific settings to suit the way you work with them.

In addition to their details and sales methods, you can set specific conditions related to their sales, such as general discounts or commissions and different conditions depending on the ticket type.

These conditions are explained in more detail in How to configure a promoter's commissions.

When you have finished configuring the promoter, click Save.

Check each promoter's visits and sales

From the Promoters list, you can review the activity generated by each promoter.

For each promoter, you can view the visits they have generated and the sales they have made, making it easier to track each partner's performance.

You can also search for promoters by name, code, or email and sort the list using the available data.

Check a promoter's settlement

When you open an existing promoter, you will find the Settlement tab, where you can review their online and offline activity separately.

Online sales

These are sales made through the go&dance website and associated with the promoter.

From this section, you can view the amount sold and the amounts resulting from the conditions configured for the promoter.

Offline sales

These are sales the promoter has made directly to their customers and that have subsequently been recorded manually on the platform.

From this section, you can view the amounts corresponding to these transactions and use them to settle with the promoter.
