How to validate tickets at the door
Each go&dance ticket has a unique QR code and ticket number that you can use to manage attendee access to your event.
You can manage access using the go&dance app or check the attendee list in advance if you prefer to validate tickets manually.
Validate tickets with the go&dance app
The easiest way to manage access is by using our app.
At the entrance to the event, you can validate a ticket in two ways:
- Scan the QR code displayed on the attendee's ticket.
- Enter or search for the ticket number when it is not possible to scan the QR code.
This allows you to check that the ticket is valid and record the attendee's access to the event.
Each ticket has a unique identifier, allowing the system to keep track of tickets that have already been used.
Review access records afterwards
Accesses recorded using the app are saved in go&dance.
From Sales and attendees > Attendees, you can download the Excel file containing the attendee list. If you used our app for access control, this file will also show when each ticket was scanned and who scanned it.
This is particularly useful for reviewing the access control carried out during the event.
Manage access without the app
You can also manage access using your own methods.
Before the event, go to Sales and attendees > Attendees and click Download to get the Excel file containing the attendee list.
In this file, you will find the unique number for each ticket, together with the information collected from its attendees. You can use this information to check tickets manually at the entrance.
Recommendation: if you manage access without the go&dance app, you will need to keep your own record of the tickets that have been used to prevent the same ticket from being used more than once.
