# How to publish my event

Once you have finished configuring your event, you can publish it so that it becomes **visible on go&dance and you can start selling tickets**.

To start the process, open the event from your Professional Area and click **Publish event** in the top-right corner.

Before publishing, go&dance will guide you through several steps to check that you have configured the required information and help you complete your event page.

## 1. Check the required elements

The first step checks that you have configured the basic elements required to publish your event:

- **Event poster:** the main image users will see.
- **Organizer profile:** shows users who is behind the event.
- **Contact details:** required so users can contact you if they have any questions.
- **Tickets created:** you must have configured the tickets you want to offer for the event.

These elements are required to continue with the publication process.

## 2. Complete the recommended information

Next, go&dance will show you other elements you can configure to make your event page more complete.

These may include:

- Short description or subtitle.
- Full description.
- Artists.
- Flexible Cancellation.
- Ticket name changes.
- Images.
- Videos.
- Dance styles.
- Tags.
- Frequently asked questions.

These elements are **optional**, so you can publish your event without completing them.

However, we recommend adding as much information as possible. A complete page helps users better understand what the event offers, builds greater trust, and can help you attract more visits and sales.

Click **Edit** next to any of these elements to configure it.

## 3. Review the information you will collect from attendees

Before publishing, you will also be able to review the **information you will collect for each ticket**.

For example:

- Full name.
- Email.
- Phone number.
- Gender.
- Role.
- ID or passport.
- Country of residence.
- City of residence.

The screen will show you which fields are currently enabled and which are disabled.

Click **Edit** if you want to change these settings.

> **Recommendation:** only request the information you genuinely need to manage the event. Remember that you can configure the information to collect differently for each ticket type.

## 4. Review and accept the agreement

In the final step, you will need to review the terms that apply to publishing your event and selling tickets.

Select the corresponding **company or billing details** and carefully review the agreement displayed on the screen.

To continue, enable **I accept the go&dance event agreement**.

> **Important:** review the entire agreement before accepting it, as it contains the financial and service terms that apply to your event.

When you are ready, click **Accept and publish**.

## Your event is now published

Once you have completed the process, your event will be published and can start receiving visits and sales according to the settings you have configured.

After publishing, you can **continue editing and managing your event** from your Professional Area.

> **Tip:** publishing your event doesn't mean you have to stop improving it. Continue completing your event page, adding content, and reviewing its settings to give users all the information they need to make their purchase decision.
