# How to create an event on go&dance

# How to create an event on go&dance

Creating an event on go&dance allows you to publish all your event information, configure ticket sales, and manage registrations from a single place.

## Create a new event

Go to your [Professional Area](https://www.goandance.com/es/pro) and select [My Events](https://www.goandance.com/es/pro/events) from the main menu.

Click **+ Create event** to get started.

The event creation process consists of several steps. You can complete and review the information before publishing the event.

## Event information

Enter the main information that will identify and present your event:

- **Event name**
- **Event type**
- **Start and end date and time**
- **Organizer profile**
- **Location**
- **Event image or poster**

Use a clear name and a high-quality image, as these will be some of the main elements users see when they find your event on go&dance.

## Dates and location

Specify when and where the event will take place.

If the event lasts several days, make sure the start and end dates are configured correctly.

For in-person events, select the venue or enter the corresponding location. Check the address carefully before publishing to avoid confusion among attendees.

## Organizer

Select who is organizing the event.

The organizer information links the event to the corresponding profile on go&dance and helps attendees identify who is behind the event.

## Tickets

Configure the tickets that will be available for the event.

For each ticket type, you can define the information required for its sale, such as:

- **Name**
- **Price**
- **Availability**
- **Sales period**

For example, the same event may have different ticket types:

- Full Pass
- Party Pass
- One-day ticket
- Workshop or masterclass
- Early Bird

Configure each ticket according to the actual access conditions for your event.

## Registration forms

You can request additional information from attendees during the purchase process.

Depending on the event, it may be useful to request information such as:

- Full name
- Phone number
- Country of residence
- Dance role
- Other information required to manage the registration

Only request information that you genuinely need to organize the event.

## Review the event

Before publishing it, carefully review:

- Name and description
- Dates and times
- Location
- Organizer
- Tickets and prices
- Sales periods
- Information requested from attendees

> Incorrect ticket settings or sales dates may prevent users from purchasing tickets.

## Publish the event

Once you have finished configuring it, publish the event so it can be available on go&dance.

After publishing, you can access it again from **Professional Area > My Events** to review its information and manage the available options.

## Edit a published event

If you need to make changes later, open the event from **My Events** and access its settings.

Depending on the change and the status of your sales, some modifications may affect existing buyers.

Pay particular attention to changes related to:

- Dates and times
- Location
- Tickets
- Prices
- Access conditions
