# A ticket appears as already used. What should I do?

When you scan a ticket with the go&dance app, it is recorded as **used**. If you scan it again, the app will notify you that **the ticket has already been used**.

## Always check the attendee's identity

During access control, we recommend **always checking an ID document** (national ID card, passport, or another valid document) of the person presenting the ticket.

When you scan the ticket, the app will display **the attendee details associated with it**. Check that these details match the ID document presented before allowing access.

> **Important:** Do not simply check that the QR code is valid. Always verify that the person's identity matches the details displayed when the ticket is scanned.

## What should I do if the ticket appears as already used?

If the app indicates that the ticket has already been used:

1. **Check that you did not accidentally scan it twice.** Two consecutive scans of the same QR code may occur during access control.
2. **Check the person's ID document** and verify that it matches the ticket details displayed in the app.
3. If the details are correct and it is not an accidental double scan, **the ticket may have been used previously to access the event**.

For security reasons, a ticket marked as used **cannot be validated again or have its validation undone from the app**.

> If a ticket appears as used and you cannot confirm that it was an accidental double scan, carefully check the attendee's identity and the situation before allowing them to enter again.
